Inside the Outside: On Trust

In this second episode of INSIDE THE OUTSIDE, Tim and Tuesday reflect on how they create the conditions for optimal trust inside a room full of collaborators—so people sharing in the work of systems change can trust in each other, in the process, and in the path to action.

Trustworthiness? It came up on a whim, and was such an interesting idea—how well collaborators trust each other, the process, the follow-through, the facilitators—and how that trust makes people rise to the occasion of significant change. More important, how can we orchestrate the conditions for people to self-organize with faith in the goodness of the process?

When we trust the room, we're in it together. We're not looking to the senior leader for permission. We're giving it to ourselves. Huzzah!
